really fun game! i like the style and the trash guy lol
feels rage inducing though >:c

The controls could use a bit of work, i feel the character gains momentum a bit too slowly which makes the platforming too hard.
Climbing ladders is a bit funky as well, you slide left to right too fast and jumping off of them is difficult.
I like the visual style! but maybe try and ad a bit more of a feeling of depth to some objects? some of those crates looked like doors to me when they were on the ground.

fun and simple stuff-- only thing i really have to be critical about is the jumping. In mid air if you stop holding a direction you instantly stop, its a bit jarring :<

hmm gets pretty repetitive pretty quick, but it IS nice to have the new weapon types unlock over time. The music is kinda droning too, and if I wanted to be a snobby nitpicker id say the earth doesn't spin that fast irl >:O but for real the earth anim looks nice

Oh my, I had wondered if my graphics were terrible. I had meant to do an Earth-like world with different continents to Earth but not actually Earth to get away with a world that span a lot quicker, it appears I'd made it too close to be confused :(

Yeah, I don't usually write music so not my forte but I was happy enough for a stab at it and specifically took it out of the main gameplay so as not to drone on during the game. It does seem like my niggling concern that it might have enough variation during the menu system has been confirmed. If I do an update I'll add additional menu music to the things to look at.
