cool! how did you get the paper looking bg like that?

Oh thanks man, yeah, the BG was easy I just took a pic of a map then stock paper textures and I recolored the paper and lowered its opacity to make the map look more crinkled and used a gouache brush to add some flair. I like it and its good looking for simple sketches like this one.
